Well done! I love this post. As a Thai and Noodle fan.. I think it's great

My favourite noodle right now is " Sen Lek Tom Yum Moo sub" Thin rice noodles stick with minced pork in Tomyum soup.

but All time favourite would be .. Sen Mi Yen-ta-fo!

Everytime I go to Chonburi I eat from street vendors.

It's the only way!

Thanks for the translations. :)

Good article, I am still looking for the noodles Thai restaurants in London serve. They are yellow and round.

I've not really seen any carts doing currys like the red or green coconut ones or massamans. Do you know of any in Bangkok?

Thanks for that, I will try "ba-mee nam moo daeng" dry egg noodle with pork next time.

Great info! Both content and photos are very clear and easy to understand. I bet many foreign visitors to Thailand would enjoy ordering and eating noodles in Thailand much more, after reading your post.

As a Thai, I would like to add just one thing to the sixth type of noodles you mentioned about. I hope it's ok.:)

Although Kanom Jeen looks like noodles, Thais categorize them as another dish (not noodle dish) because we eat them with different sauces. We also can only find them at Kanom Jeen vendors; not at noodle stores.

The most common sauces served with Kanom jeen are Nam-ya, Nam-priik, Gang Keaw-waan and Gang Tai-pla. All these sauces are spicy, while Nam-priik is the least spicy sauce.
